Looking for a unique, entertaining and classy way to impress? Join our talented chef for a personalised dinner.
Rydges offers three menus for you to choose from for the Chef’s Table concept or we can tailor a menu to suit your taste. We’ll give each guest a glass of bubbly to get the party started and can match wine for each course and fuss over you and your clients all day or night.

Perfect if you’re looking for a very unique way to wow your clients, a day out to treat your staff, or even a Christmas party out of the ordinary. Our Chef insists on hand selected produce from the supply distribution point including our local boutique family butcher and seafood provider. Our meals incorporate a fusion of classic French technique with a contemporary presentation.

The Chef’s Table is an extravagant menu of 5-10 courses that can be paired with matching wines for 5-20 guests. We have menus for you to choose from or you’re welcome to come and personally meet with our chef to have a menu tailored for your group.

The cost is $80 pp five course menu/$25 pp for matching wines one glass per course, $95 pp seven course menu/$40 pp for matching wines or $130 pp ten course menu/$60 pp for matching wines.

You choose from a wide variety of stunning locations. Southbank Grill Restaurant has received countless awards including North Queensland’s “Best Fine Dining Restaurant”, and “Best Hotel Restaurant”. The Savoy Balcony is a very trendy dining experience overlooking Palmer Street. The Savoy Balcony is located in Rydges Southbank Convention Centre and is completely private with plenty of class. The Poolside gazebo is a completely private gazebo surrounded by lush, tropical gardens.
We pride ourselves on being completely flexible so if there’s something special you’d like, just ask and we’ll be happy to discuss your needs. Guests have the option for table side cooking depending on menu choice and we can theme a menu to suit the personal tastes and special requirements. Vegetarian and vegan menus are also available upon request.
